FAQ
Here are some commonly asked questions. We hope this helps, but please feel free to contact us with any questions that may arise in the booking process.
How do I book RD Bridal Artistry for hair or makeup?

- Review our FAQ , service & pricing page and the about me section of the site.
- Fill out the inquiry form (at the end of the home and pricing page) with as many details of your wedding/event as possible.
- Sit back and relax. We’ll be in contact with you to get you through the next step.
Is there a travel fee?

We offer on-site location makeup and hair. There is a travel charge of $0.75 per mile. The precise pricing is calculated based on the distance from Rachel or the designated artist’s home location to your designated getting ready venue.
To obtain accurate travel fees for your specific location, we encourage you to reach out to us and inquire directly.
Is a deposit required?

In order to book with us we require a non-refundable deposit and a signed contract to secure an appointment. The deposit amount will vary depending on the type of event being booked and ranges from $20 to $100.
Please note that our appointments are reserved exclusively for those who have completed the deposit and contract requirements. Upon receiving both the deposit and signed contract, we will send out a Google Calendar appointment confirmation via email to the client.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policies are thoughtfully designed to safeguard the valuable time of our artists and ensure the seamless operation of our business.
For Wedding Services: To facilitate adequate scheduling and preparations, brides are kindly requested to provide a minimum of 30 days' advance notice in the event of a cancellation before the scheduled wedding date. Should the contract agreement of 30 days' cancellation notice not be met, the full agreed amount for the service will be due.
For Glam/Event Services: For all other events and appointments, we kindly request our clients to provide at least 48 hours' advance notice in case of cancellation. Failing to adhere to the contract agreement of 48 hours' cancellation notice will result in the full agreed amount for the service to be due.
While we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, it’s important to recognize that cancellations significantly impact our ability to accommodate other clients and the continuity of our business operations.

Do I need a bridal hair and makeup trial?

While bridal previews aren’t required, they are highly recommended. This will give us a chance to talk about the details of your dream hair and makeup. It will give us both an idea of what to expect on your wedding day. We will have a thorough consultation, take photos, and get to know one another! A bridal preview eliminates the guesswork and potential stress on your wedding day.

How do I reserve my wedding date? Can I schedule a trial before booking my wedding date?

We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to the amount of inquires we receive and the nature of the business, a non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your wedding date. Scheduling a bridal makeup trial will not place a hold on your wedding date.
We understand that selecting your wedding day artist can be nerve-wrecking, which is why we aim to provide complete transparency in our services. To help you make an informed decision, we proudly showcase our unedited work on our Instagram page and website (@rdbridalartistry).

Thank you for considering RD Bridal Artistry for your momentous day! We look forward to working with you to create a truly captivating and unforgettable bridal look.
